We would have loved to have attended the 2008 AMEC Awards in London on the 19th this past Wednesday. Unfortunately, we weren't able to, but when we finally learned of our award, we were all very excited.

This award (Bronze) tells us that we are doing something right. We are not talking about it. We are doing it. It is also a reminder that we are only as good as our clients are. Finding a client who will put their faith in you is half the challenge. Aldar did not just have faith in us, they had a deep understanding of what they wanted to achieve.

We were delighted to receive notice from AMEC that Mediastow was shortlisted for the 2008 Communication Effectiveness Awards in the Best Use of Integrated Media Evaluation/Research category. While others might be busy hosting summits in attempts to appear relevant in the industry, we have been working hard for our clients. As we tell clients, would you rather the Bentley driving surgeon operate on your heart, or the accredited award winning heart surgeon?

The awards showcase the best of the best in the industry. In its 7 years now, we are the first from the Middle East. Yeah, I know, I just had to say it!

We are fortunate that ALDAR gave us the opportunity to demonstrate the usefulness of the kind of research that very few clients truly understand the value of. To that, we say, thank you!

November 19th is the big day, and we look forward to it. Not sure if we will be making the pilgrimage to London yet, we'll soon know.
